Position Overview
Senior Applied Data Scientists will oversee the full life cycle design, research, implementation, and maintenance of machine learning and statistical models supported and used by the Co’s No Code System along with adding insight driven features and visualizations used for reporting and monitoring.
Job Duties
Develop, prototype and integrate state of the art Computer Vision and statistical models based on domain or system requirements in the portal. Research and apply best practices and techniques in the realm of Computer Vison, Machine Learning and statistical modelling to create end-to-end training and inference pipelines based on business problems or domains. Leverage and adapt different Machine Learning libraries, frameworks and architectures to be support in the Co’s platform. Design and implement approaches to describe model and feature aspects and properties to end user in coherent and insightful way. Design experiments and proof of concept approaches for supporting different customer uses cases and ML problems. Create data processing and transformation pipelines to support large-scale data analysis and inference. Creating maintainable and reusable software adhering to the software standards of the company. Work with Back-end and Front-end teams to make sure data processing and analyzing features operate smoothly for both technical and non-technical users. Work with Product and Sales team to design or research additional features required for different domains. Work extensively with: Python programming, creating data processing and analysis infrastructure using libraries like Pandas, Spark ML and using frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, Hugging Face, Scikit-Learn. AWS tools and platforms like Sagemaker, Lambda, CloudWatch are also used to support the NoCode system. Telecommuting is permitted for 2 days per week.
Requirements
Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or any related field of study and one year of experience in any related occupation developing machine learning and statistical models, creating Computer Vision or Machine Learning Pipelines, working with AWS, Google Cloud, test-driven development in Python.
