Customer-Facing Data Scientist Role
The CFDS role is a technical liaison to support the sales process. CFDS co-op works with sales and engineering to ensure customer success.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a team member who has both a passion for data science and for helping organizations advance their analytics strategies to drive meaningful business outcomes. This person should have experience working in Customer Facing/ Solution Architect, and/or Solution Engineering in the machine learning space. Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop technical presentations and demos to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
- Work with the Lead CFDS’s to provide technical support in the full customer lifecycle; from capturing goals in new-customer discovery calls to supporting solution implementations to supporting existing-customers as they mature and expand their analytics applications.
- Conduct discovery meetings to collect, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements during the sales cycle to support the implementation team and produce a detailed solution proposal.
- Support rapid POCs (proof of concepts) to build end-to-end AI solutions.
- Conduct statistical analysis and interpret the results essential in the decision-making process for the organization.
- Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving technology and landscape while maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies in order to position Sway AI in relation to them.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong data engineering and data science skills (python, SQL, pyspark etc).
- 2+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions in public cloud.
- 1+ years of experience in demonstrating software products and presenting technical materials.
- Experience driving client-facing architecture session/ consulting / technical workshops.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- A passion for collaboration and problem-solving.
